September 2010 - Front Loom Rewiring
The old wiring loom was found to be in quite good condition despite its age. The old and frayed outer cotton insulation was stripped off and replaced with modern wound on black insulation tape. My trusty old workshop manual's wiring diagrams were easy to follow making the rewiring task relatively straightforward. Several components such as the alternator, distributor and windsreen washer tank and pump were also stripped and given a thorough cleaning and general tidy up.

The loom was fed through the bulkhead to the dash panel.
