"Quaker" Pegg-painted Derby Botanical "Scarlet Blandfordia" Dessert Dish c.1815Description. Painted with a finely executed study of "Oriental Poppy". Superbly painted in the inimitable style of William 'Quaker' Pegg. The quality of the painting matches the best work of Pegg, as illustrated, for example, in John Twitchett's "Derby Porcelain 1748 1848" (see colour plate 51 for a similar composition).
