The refurbished wings having been returned were loose bolted on the car prior to it being transported to the bodyshop. The rear seat area was cleared of loose rust and painted with Hammerite. When ready the car was finally taken away to the bodyshop on a trailer. New inner and outer sills were welded on (these can be seen inside the car in the short video) and major repairs to the doors and bodywork were carried out. Whilst the car was away a start was made on other tasks including the fitting of new rubber moulding to the windscreen.
