1929 Ford Stake Bed Truck
The Ford Stake Bed Truck was a variant of the Model AA truck which was in production from 1927 until 1932. Two wheelbases were available, 131.5 inches and 157 inches. Various body styles were available on different chassis. Specialty bodies include: Funeral Coach, Ambulance, Express Pickup, Dump Truck, and a cab without a bed. The GAZ company in Russia also built this truck on licence from Ford. More than 985,000 GAZ AAs were built in the USSR from 1932 to 1950. A 1929 Ford Model AA pickup had a starring role in "The Waltons" TV programme from 1972 to 1981.
