Toy Articulated Lorry
The plans for this toy aticulated lorry were published as a three part series in the 'The Practical Wooworker' monthly magazine between May and July 2005. It is designed to be robust and give good play value to a young child; it isn't a scale model but is based loosely on a Bedford lorry which was produced for British Rail. It has a distinctive rounded cab shape which was typical of the 1950's. This was a good project for using up offcuts from other jobs and proved to be an excellent introduction to woodworking for eight year old great nephew Michael.
