Castle Tower & Curtain Wall
This project was made for Callum in 2008, an eight year old Grandson with more than a passing interest in all things medieval and playing with 'Dungeons & Dragons' type characters. No plans were available for the making of this toy, inspiration being drawn from the size of Lego bricks and the way the were used in the construction of a variety of toys. Using small wooden blocks glued together resulted in an eye catching design and a virtually indestructable toy. The square castle tower and curtain wall was built as an addition to the medieval castle and approximately 1200 blocks were used in its construction.
